The machine has to be fashionable, able to connect to all manner of wireless networks, and full of the latest, fastest computing capabilities. Oh yes, and make it as thin as Motorola's Razr. Its own engineers in conjunction with Ziba Design in Portland, Ore., rose to the challenge.

The result, code-named Intel mobile Metro notebook, is less than 0.7 inches thick—about one-quarter of an inch thicker than Motorola's (MOT) iconic cell phone, making it the world's thinnest notebook. A debt collector trying to repossess a 2000 Ford Focus tried to yank a young mother out of her car so violently that he ripped off her necklace and punched her in the face, a prosecutor said today in court.

While the woman's 5-year-old daughter watched in horror Friday, another debt collector jumped on the hood like a �madman,� said Brendan Barnes, a prosecutor for the Plymouth County district attorney's office.

Afraid she was being carjacked, Sara Bradley, 25, drove to the Abington Police Department with the man clinging to her hood while his partner followed in another car. The two debt collectors from South Shore Auto Recovery -- Robert Simeone, 21, and his brother, Michael, 17 -- were arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

I don't now if i should be excited or concerned, heck its the new reign of the 80's cartoons. First Transformers, now He-Man,the thought of it being any reminiscent of Dolph Londgren's HE-Man makes me shiver. The Variety article sheds some light on the project.

Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver are working with Mattel to turn "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" into a live-action film.

Justin Marks is set to write the script. Silver will produce.The franchise has been re-imagined by the producer and the writers and pitched to Mattel as a classic good vs. evil battle, using the kind of visual effects strategy employed in "300." A warrior is touted as the last hope of a magical land called Eternia, which is being ravaged by technology and the evil Skeletor.

Looks promising especially with Joel Silver producing. Lets hope its good this time around.

It's season finale time! And yes the show that we all LOVE to hate and vice versa is finishing off Season 3 yet a thousand more cliff hangers I am sure. Although I have to admit, that they've gotten a little better about slowly revealing more "secrets' of the island. They almost "Lost" (ha punn) me mid-season and almost gave up on them, but they pulled me back in. Now it's a I just HAVE to know how it ends situation.. damn it! Will they get to the cell tower? The system, which consists of a 400 gram (14 oz) headset and a 630 gram (1 lb 6 oz) controller worn on the waist, is the result of Hitachi’s efforts to transform the brain scanner into a familiar everyday item that anyone can use.

The rechargeable battery-operated mind reader relies on Hitachi’s so-called “optical topography” technology, which interprets mental activity based on subtle changes in the brain’s blood flow.

I know some one who personally suffered from wiimote in tv, now he is wiiscared for life( sorry for the lame wii puns).basically its a shield protector for you tv, especially since you do pay up to $2000 for an LCD or plasma. Might come in handy for those drunken Wii parties. As for my Friend now he can get back to some serious Wii gaming again.

The shield is made by Taiwanese TV maker LCDArm and will fit 30 to 46-inch screens, has a invisible frame, 98% transparency, and reduces UV rays from (we're guessing) the TV. No price or release date on this yet, so cool it with that Wii throwing in the meantime

I have been waiting for this, and its seems to be a pretty well made accessory for the Wii. I always knew the system will be come a dangerous tool. Besides that, it looks like you can attach the Nun chuck to it. This will definitely come in handy with resident evil Umbrella Chronicles and other light gun games come out for the system. Priced at $19 doesn't sound bad at all.

looks like all of us, the rest of America that use Sprint,Verizon and T-mobile will not get our hands on the iphone unless we get an At&t contract. The news is from USA today, states

The Apple iPhone, due out next month, has been breathlessly hailed as offering consumers the ultimate wireless experience.

It also could give AT&T, its exclusive U.S. distributor, the ultimate experience for a wireless carrier: an easy way to handcuff rivals and steal customers.

AT&T has exclusive U.S. distribution rights for five years — an eternity in the go-go cellphone world. And Apple is barred for that time from developing a version of the iPhone for CDMA wireless networks.

That ban is no small thing. AT&T rivals Verizon Wireless and Sprint are both CDMA shops. AT&T uses GSM, a global standard incompatible with CDMA.

Bottom line: If you want an iPhone anytime soon, you'll have to take your business to AT&T.
